FrontPac makes a multi-million investment - again!

Now FrontPac is investing in a second printing press to meet the great demand that exists globally in the packaging industry. This means that FrontPac will be the only packaging printing company in Scandinavia with two large-format printing presses.

The demand is increasing globally
FrontPac manufactures packaging in corrugated cardboard and cardboard, and these are in a large scale sent out into the world. Approximately half of the volume is sold outside Sweden's borders thanks to the knowledge and quality level that has been built up within the company which is in demand in Europe. Now FrontPac chooses to invest in a second printing press to meet this increased demand.

"We see a strong demand for our packaging. Both because they are environmentally friendly in paper and the fact that they maintain a high quality and contribute to strengthening our customers' brand in the stores. The fact that we choose to make this investment now signals that we have high faith in the future. Of course we are affected by energy prices and a possible lack of electricity this winter, but we have to dare to look past that to provide our customers with packaging for a long time to come," says Martin Enocson, CEO of FrontPac.

KBA Rapida 145 – a printing press in large format
FrontPac has for many years been a leader in offset printed corrugated packaging. A conscious investment program over many years has made the company stand strong, even during both the pandemic and other disturbances. The latest investment in the aforementioned investment program is a KBA Rapida 145, a printing press that can print with six colors plus varnish, which is optimal for packaging that often has one or two so-called spot colors. The printing press complements the already existing KBA 162, a printing press that also has six colors, in an otherwise well-equipped machine park with, among other things, two in-line machines.

The investment means that FrontPac is the only packaging printing company in Scandinavia with two large-format printing presses. The company is now ready to meet the increasing packaging needs of the customers and the packaging industry in the future.
