FrontPac has won the Packnorth Award 2026 in the Luxury Packaging category. The jury recognized the premium packaging FrontPac developed for Collab’s collaboration with the artist Laufey. FrontPac received the award at Empack in Stockholm on September 30.
FrontPac is honored at the Packnorth Awards 2026
The Packnorth Awards highlight creativity, innovation, and quality in packaging design every year. The competition focuses on solutions that combine design, materials, and functionality.
This year, the jury recognized FrontPac’s work on the packaging for Collab x Laufey. Consequently, the awards ceremony at Empack in Stockholm was a wonderful opportunity for FrontPac to celebrate the project together with the packaging industry.
Exclusive packaging for Collab x Laufey
Collab needed exclusive packaging for a limited-edition collaboration with the artist Laufey. Consequently, the final design had to reflect both the product and the artist's visual aesthetic.
We chose a design inspired by a book. Furthermore, we combined high-quality materials with premium printing and finishes. A custom-fitted interior holds the product securely in place while contributing to a well-conceived unboxing experience.
Materials, form, and details work together to create a distinct premium feel. At the same time, the construction gives the packaging a practical function throughout the unboxing process.
Packaging design that enhances the experience
Exclusive packaging should do more than just protect its contents; it can also build anticipation and reinforce the brand even before the recipient opens it.
That is why we combined packaging design, materials, printing, and finishing in the Collab x Laufey project. The result is packaging that serves a practical function while also contributing to the overall product experience.
Furthermore, the project demonstrates how well-conceived packaging design creates a clear connection between product and brand.
The Packnorth Awards 2026 represent further recognition of our work in packaging design, engineering, and production. We are proud to have created the packaging for Collab x Laufey and that the project has now been awarded a prize in the Luxury Packaging category.
