One person who has taken advantage of these opportunities is Awad Abdulrhman, who has made an inspiring journey from production to project management.
From production to project management
Awad began his career in production, where he gained a practical understanding of how our packaging is made. He then developed his skills in the warehouse, before moving into project management in the office. The combination of these experiences has given him a strong holistic perspective.
“In our production and in the warehouse you only see part of the process, but as a project manager you understand how everything is connected. I have really learned to see the big picture,” says Awad.
Competence that grows with every step
We actively encourage employee movement between different parts of the company. By giving our driven employees the opportunity to try new roles, we create both a broader range of skills and a deeper understanding of the entire packaging chain.
“My practical background helps me a lot. It’s inspiring to follow a project from the beginning all the way to the finished packaging,” says Awad.
Motivated by development and collaboration
The move from a practical role to a more coordinating and customer-facing position has given Awad both new challenges and new motivation. In the role of project manager, he gets to be the link between different parts of the company while working closely with customers.
“I enjoy seeing projects develop from start to finish. It motivates me to learn more. I also enjoy the contact with both colleagues and customers,” he says.
Internal development creates broad expertise
